AAPPED has been actively involved in child rescue operations for the past 5 years and has played key roles in rehabilitating young militias and providing them with education and employment opportunities.

In addition to this, AAPPED has provided a safe haven to many ex- CAAFG and children and adolescents at risk and understands the complexities and challenges of catering to the needs of traumatized and vulnerable children.

AAPPED believes that the war against human rights violation and the marginalization of women and the youth, can only be won if all stakeholders and particularly the None State Actors in Somalia pull together in one direction and with a common resolve.
